Care Instructions for a Glass Panel Lantern

A glass panel lantern is a beautiful and functional accessory that can add charm and warmth to any space. However, it also requires proper care and maintenance to ensure its longevity and safety. Here are some tips on how to care for your glass panel lantern:

- Clean the glass panels regularly with a soft cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Avoid using abrasive or harsh chemicals that may damage the glass or the metal frame.

- Check the metal frame for any signs of rust or corrosion. If you notice any, use a wire brush or sandpaper to remove it and apply a protective coating of paint or lacquer.

- Replace the candle or light bulb as needed. Make sure the candle or light bulb is compatible with the size and shape of your lantern. Do not use candles or light bulbs that are too large or too hot for your lantern, as they may cause overheating or fire hazards.

- Keep the lantern away from flammable materials, children, and pets. Do not place the lantern near curtains, furniture, bedding, or other combustible items. Do not leave the lantern unattended when lit. Do not let children or pets play with or touch the lantern, as they may get burned or injured by the glass or metal parts.

- Store the lantern in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place when not in use. Avoid exposing the lantern to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, humidity, or moisture. These factors may cause fading, cracking, warping, or tarnishing of the lantern.

Panel Installation

Begin by placing your personalized glass pane in the door of the lantern. This is done by lifting up the two small prongs located at the top of the swinging door and pulling down the prongs at the base of the door.

Once all prongs are open, place your personalized pane inside the frame of the door and close the prongs to secure the glass in place.

For the easiest way to assemble, follow the same process with the remaining glass panes in a clockwise direction (starting from the pane left of the personalized door).
